Holiday

I have just come back from a holiday in Sharm el Sheikh Egypt. It wasa a bit of a saga in that when we first should have gone, the travel company that arranged the flight went bust so did not pay the airline and we got to the air port to find there was no airplane.
It wasn't that we could not get on the flight, the whole flight had been cancelled. The travel agent had tried to ring us that morning (apparently), but we had left early to beat the snow and ice.
Fortunately the travel company managed to give us another holiday a week later, so all was not lost.
However, a day before we were to fly back, it snowed again. We were delayed by a few hours, but we did make it home eventually. The airplane could land but had no where to park and the taxi did not arrive.
But, all in all, it was a great holiday. Swimming in the sea and lounging round the pool. The food was good (they even managed to lash up some cottage pie one day). The people were friendly - and there was no health and safety or political correctness to ruin things....
